Grade II* listed St Helen’s was constructed in 11th century with the Norman Tower and arch.  Additions were made in 13th, 14th and 16th centuries.  Major restoration occurred in 1871–1872 by the Fox family and included beautiful stained-glass windows.  The church clock was presented by the Fox family in appreciation of the WWI efforts of the village.  Other features include 17th-century wooden lectern and two substantial marble monuments in the vestry commemorating the 18th-century Lords of the Manor at Girsby.  Display of artwork.  Teas, coffee, cakes will be served.
