A peaceful church in a lovely quiet churchyard with a fine view of Lincoln Cathedral, over 25 miles away. The building fell down in 1893 and was rebuilt. It still displays two bullet holes from the time of the Civil War Battle of Winceby, which was fought nearby. The pulpit has an hourglass to remind the preacher of the passage of time! There is a beautiful west window in memory of 2nd Lieutenant John Brice Smith, the son of the Rector, who died near Ypres in 1915.
