Save the date for the new Lincolnshire Wold and Coast Churches Festival
31 August & 1st September and 7th & 8th September. This website will be updated June 2019, and currently includes details the 2018 festival to give a taste of what to expect in 2019.
St Oswald’s is surrounded by a deserted medieval village site. Inside is a surprising number of notable monuments, both in brass and stone, dating from the 14th–16thcentury. Outstanding is a rare, coped stone coffin lid, believed to date from between the 10th and 12th centuries. Information on church history, brass rubbing and cake stall. There are interesting memorials from WWI to be seen.
