Stainfield, St Andrew

Stainfield St Andrews (photo by Ashley Taylor)
The war memorial in Stainfield churchyard commemorates 11 local men who lost their lives in the Great War from the villages of Stainfield, Apley and Kingthorpe.  Come and read their stories.  Sit quietly, contemplating the beauty of the surrounding parkland in stark contrast to the horrors of war experienced by these local men a hundred years ago.  Home-made cakes, tea and coffee available.

The Tyrwhitt Tapestries dating from 1711 permanently displayed in church

Opening times:
Saturday 10am–4pm
Sunday 10am–4pm
